Incredible flavors come from the countries that surround the Mediterranean Sea that include Southern Europe, the Levant (Near East or Middle East) and North Africa, in addition to two island nations completely in it, Malta & Cyprus.

With specific regional features like a climate of hot dry summers and humid, cool winters and a generally hilly landscape, it is rich in wine and cuisine.
